JSTOR Account
JSTOR
We subscribe to three collections from JSTOR, an online repository of scholarly literature.
An account with JSTOR will enable you to save articles to your personal workspace and read six free articles per month from outside our subscription collections. Learn how to create your personal account.
If you reach JSTOR through a search engine while off campus, see these instructions for logging in through NWOSU’s institutional account.

Create a JSTOR Account
Begin by navigating to the JSTOR collections from the A–Z Databases page.
If the system recognizes your university, you can create a new account by selecting the Register link.
This will bring up a form asking for several pieces of information. Either fill out the form using your Rangers email address or, alternatively, register with an existing Google account.
When logged in, you have access to several features including a Workspace, where you can save articles, create folders, and export multiple citations simultaneously. You can also read six free articles a month from outside our subscription collections.
Log into Your Institution on JSTOR
If you sign into JSTOR on campus, the site will automatically recognize your institution.
The same is true if you use any of our links to JSTOR resources. However, if you encounter JSTOR via a search engine, you may need to log into our institutional account.
Once on the JSTOR website, select Log in through your library.
This will take you to a screen entitled Log in through your institution. Type Northwestern Oklahoma State University into the box labeled Search by institution name.
After you press Search, the system should return one result. Select Log in from beside the university’s name.
This will take you to the EZProxy screen, where you can enter the same username and password you use on Self Service.
