Personal Use
Digital materials may be reproduced for personal use, unless specifically noted. Personal use includes non-commercial activities such as saving a copy of the material on a computer or emailing a copy to another individual.
Personal use does not include using the material on a personal website.
There is no fee to use our digital materials for personal use.
Fair Use
Collection content may be used by individuals under certain conditions known as fair use, as defined in U.S. Copyright Law’s Section 107-118. Fair use means that a material can be reproduced for purposes of research, scholarship, private study, news reporting, or teaching.
Reproductions in excess of fair use may be subject to copyright infringement per 37 C.F.R., Section 201.14.
