Search the Library Catalog
How to Find Journals in the Catalog
Navigate to the library catalog by choosing Catalog ⇒ Go to the Catalog from the navigation bar.
In the catalog, select the Resources dropdown menu and choose the option eJournals A–Z List.

When the search junction appears, select the tab labeled Journals.
Search or browse:
Search the eJournals A–Z List to find out if Northwestern provides full-text coverage.
Alternatively, select the Browse tab to see a complete list of journal titles.

Navigate to the library catalog by choosing Catalog ⇒ Go to the Catalog from the navigation bar.
Choose the Advanced Search option.

Under Search Index, select Title. Then type the name of the journal you want to find in the Search Term bar.
Specify Journal/Magazine under Format and conduct your search.

While in an EBSCO database, select the tab labeled Publications to browse or search the publication list.
You can subscribe to receive updates from a particular journal by selecting the RSS icon () to the left of the journal’s title.

This is not a comprehensive list. In a research database, you can search by Journal Name in conjunction with your other search terms.
- English Literature in Transition, –
Publishes articles on fiction, poetry, drama, or subjects of cultural interest in the – period of British literature.
- Journal of Modern Literature
Each issue emphasizes scholarly studies of literature in all languages, as well as related arts and cultural artifacts, from to the present; publication is international in its scope.
- Space Between: Literature & Culture,
Devoted to interdisciplinary scholarship on the period bracketed by the two World Wars.
- Studies in 20th & 21st Century Literature
Devoted to literary theory and practical criticism in the modern languages, and special editions are dedicated to one language or theme.
- Studies in the Novel
An international literary quarterly that publishes literary criticism and scholarship on the novel. Includes essays on well-known and lesser-known novelists of all periods and countries.
- Twentieth Century Literature
A quarterly journal of scholarly literary criticism publishing refereed papers on all aspects of twentieth-century literature, including English-language essays on literature in other languages.
- World Literature Today
Articles, essays and criticism on recent belles lettres in all the major and many of the minor languages of the world, with short articles on contemporary writers and literary movements. (Not peer reviewed.)
