Search the Library Catalog
How to Find Journals in the Catalog
Navigate to the library catalog by choosing Catalog ⇒ Go to the Catalog from the navigation bar.
In the catalog, select the Resources dropdown menu and choose the option eJournals A–Z List.

When the search junction appears, select the tab labeled Journals.
Search or browse:
Search the eJournals A–Z List to find out if Northwestern provides full-text coverage.
Alternatively, select the Browse tab to see a complete list of journal titles.

Navigate to the library catalog by choosing Catalog ⇒ Go to the Catalog from the navigation bar.
Choose the Advanced Search option.

Under Search Index, select Title. Then type the name of the journal you want to find in the Search Term bar.
Specify Journal/Magazine under Format and conduct your search.

While in an EBSCO database, select the tab labeled Publications to browse or search the publication list.
You can subscribe to receive updates from a particular journal by selecting the RSS icon () to the left of the journal’s title.

This is not a comprehensive list. In a research database, you can search by Journal Name in conjunction with other search terms.
- American Journal of Education
Original articles and book reviews about the theory, methodology, and philosophy of education.
- Education
Original investigations and theoretical papers dealing with worthwhile innovations in learning, teaching and education at all levels and in every area of education and learning.
- Education Digest
Covers the entire education field from pre-elementary to college levels for school libraries and administrators, superintendents, supervisors, and principals. (Not peer reviewed.)
- Education Today
The latest in teacher education, professional development, classroom management, leadership skills, health, sport, awards, development, I.C.T., learning environments, time management, opinions, marketing for schools, & travel. (Not peer reviewed.)
- English Leadership Quarterly
English Leadership Quarterly, a publication of the Conference on English Leadership (CEL), helps department chairs, K–12 supervisors, and other leaders in their role of improving the quality of literacy instruction.
- English Teaching Forum
English Teaching Forum is a quarterly journal supporting the teaching of English around the world through the publication of innovative, practical ideas. It is published by the U.S. Department of State.
