ENGL 3523 Advanced Composition
Intensive study of composition focusing on the principles of logic and rhetoric and their application to the analysis and production of written argumentative discourse; includes discussion of rhetorical strategies (Toulmin Paradigm, enthymeme) and heuristics (such as tagmemics, the Pentad, cubing, and questioning) in the production of persuasive, informative, and interpretative written discourse.
